This is the 1st place Blend of the 2020 Italian Coffee Roasting Championship created by the 2020 Italian roasting champion Davide Cobelli during the competition that allowed him to achieve the first place in the competition. BREWING TIPS

The great complexity in flavours and acidity makes this coffee perfect for every situation and brewing method. We suggest a medium roast to enjoy its complex acidity and an incredibly balanced sweet note reminding a candied apple. The darker roast profile will enhance more the viscosity and show a more syrupy and caramel like aftertaste. Bergamot, red delicious apple and candied fruit notes will make you step into a kaleidoscope of flavours that distinguish this n.1 specialty blend.

Suggested coffee ratio:

ESPRESSO: 17 gr for double shot
MOKA: 16 gr for 3 cups pot
FILTER: 20 gr for 300 ml (2 cups)

ROASTING PROFILE

We offer 2 levels of roast to satisfy each palate and taste preference. Each level develops different flavors and aroma profiles. Here are the main characteristics for each different profile and the specifications of colour and development time. We normally use Lighttells colorimeter you can buy from our shop here. You can find the correspondence table to compare that with other colorimeters available in our lab and widely used.
