Rwanda Twongere is a female driven cooperative in the Gakenke District.
Ketiara is a cooperative in Sumatra founded by Ibu Rahmah in 2009

Specialty Coffee Blend entirely produced by Women.

Coffee is not only made to please your palate but it can promote and prize sustainable practices and equity throughout the coffee value chain.

This is a blend made of 50% each of these two single origins, “Rwanda Twongere kava coko washed” and “Sumatra Queen Ketiara wethulled“, both coming from women led cooperatives.

By making your choice to purchase this coffee you are helping us and the whole coffee sector to develop sustainable practices by improving the lives and working conditions of small farmers.

BREWING TIPS

Complex, strong and persistent just like a woman’s character can be. This blend is created by Mrs Bloom to support and celebrate all the women involved in the coffee business. Each sip will therefore not only satisfy your taste buds, but will also promote women empowerment and gender equity throughout the whole value chain. We suggest a medium roast for filter coffee preparation and a dark roast for espresso to arouse the character of this specialty coffee blend.

Suggested coffee ratio:

ESPRESSO: 16 gr for double shot
MOKA: 16 gr for 3 cups pot
FILTER: 18 gr for 300 ml (2 cups)

ROASTING PROFILE

We offer 2 levels of roast to satisfy each palate and taste preference. Each level develops different flavors and aroma profiles. Here are the main characteristics for each different profile and the specifications of colour and development time. We normally use Lighttells colorimeter you can buy from our shop here. You can find the correspondence table to compare it with other colorimeters available in our lab and widely used.
